Based in Barasat, Debashis Tarafder was an Railway track engineer by profession. His love for photography began after he joined service in Railway and that love developed into a passion with the passage of time. He began his journey into the world of photography with a Nikon FM- 10 camera which has to be replaced with digital SLR to keep pace with the advancement in technology. Debashis loves to click the various activities and moods of people around. He loves to travel places and brings home memories through his lens. His photos have won him many national and international awards. In fact photography is now becoming a best companion helping him to get joy and happiness in life.
